- Are there any hidden fees? +
- No. $99 covers your first year of access and one hardcover book (up to 200 pages) shipped within the contiguous US. Sales tax, if applicable, is shown at checkout before you pay. International shipping is the only add-on that varies and is quoted up front.
- What will I actually see at checkout? +
- A clear line-item total: the $99 first-year plan, any add-ons you choose (extra copies, extended length, e-book), shipping, and tax. No surprise charges, no auto-added upsells, no service fees.
- Is there a charge to upgrade my book later? +
- Only if you choose an add-on. Extending your book past 200 pages is +$30, adding the QR-linked e-book is $49, and extra hardcover copies are $69 each. Edits, photo uploads, and re-recording stories within your active year are always free.
- What if I need a reprint? +
- Reprints of the same book are charged at the extra-copy rate ($69 per hardcover, up to 200 pages). If your book is damaged in shipping or arrives with a printing defect, we replace it at no cost.
- What happens after year one? +
- Renewal is optional — $12/month or $99/year — and only needed if you want to keep adding new stories or order more copies at member pricing. Your existing book and content stay yours forever, even if you don't renew.
- Can I get a refund? +
- Yes. Before your book goes to print, you can cancel for a full refund of your $99. Once printing has started, the hardcover cost is non-refundable, but the rest of your plan is.
